"Echols sets the standard for home contractors! They called back immediately to schedule the estimate appointment, always showed up when promised, kept us informed about the work progress on a daily basis and didn't even charge us until the work was complete. We had a bad experience with another contractor on a room addition. He didn’t pay his subcontractors, and we ended up with a lien on our house. We were impressed and delighted to learn that Echols only sends its own employees rather than sub-contractors out to the job sites. We changed the façade to remove a large palladium window and add a portico. The siding on a chimney and a wall were also replaced. Sebastian and Nicholas worked hard every day through an intense heat wave to ensure that the work was completed quickly. They also painted the exterior and installed drywall on the interior where the window had been. They took pride in their craftsmanship and made the work appear seamless and original to the house. They were thorough in cleaning up the yard when the job was completed. They worked around our schedule and stayed late several days in order to work inside the house. A couple of times, Sebastian immediately stopped what he was doing to move his truck from the driveway as he didn’t want me to encounter even the slightest inconvenience.
